I've never been very good at keeping a journal, so I thought this blogging thing would be a good way to keep a journal and to keep in touch with family & friends. I can't believe summer is almost over. The kids go back to school in less than a month. I'm actually looking foward to getting back to business as usual. We tried to take our 1st summer vacation last weekend, but it didn't work out too well. We went up to Heber to see the fireworks show there, but Ness & Audrey kept us and everyone else in the house up all night. Come 3:30 am, we decided it was time to head home. Although we missed the fireworks show, we were really glad we came up. It was good to see the Elders' and play Scrabble all night. One of my latest endeavors has been to take on my love for singing. I always have loved to sing, but as I'm sure many of you can relate, it's hard to pursue your own interests as you start your own family and raise your children. My father was a very good mucision-a singer and guitartist. Music was always a huge part of his life. If he was still with us today, I have no doubt we'd be making music. A few years back, I meet a very good songwriter who I have been doing demos for, so I'm able to keep music somewhat a part of my life in the misdst of everything else. I really enjoy it.
